Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

hi.i also hav Olympus camedia digital C-370 zoom camera.and i cannot download pictures in the computer,my computer does not hav a card memory, n i also don't hav th card memory,wwhat should i do?help me plz.it's getting on my nerves

I bought an olympus FE-310 last year when i spent the year in south korea.got an instruction manual,but it was in korean.just have to play with the menu buttons to see your pics,or use the cables to hook up to your computer and download to picassa and view.actually better that way so you can edit and touch-up your photos.

Use a separate card reader to download your pictures.

you should have been given a cable that hooks up from your camera to the ( probably ) F drive on your computer.once you connect the two, the camera screen will prompt you if you want to download.it should give you a few options on your computer screen as to where you want to download.hopefully picassa.if you don't have picassa,get it,it's the best and you can download it for free.DO NOT !! download your pictures to the olympus file as you have bloody hell trying to print,copy,or e-mail them.if you don't have the cable,then you can probably find it on-line or at a store like best buy.

go To www.olympusamerica.com click on link for software downloads and then click the link to get the free download for Olympus Master 2. This is the new version of the photo editing software that will support your camera.

IF you are using Xp , just plug in camera with USB lead . Open MY COMPUTER find the icon for the camera( usually found after the DVD/cd drives ) adn just drag or use the move command to move the requiredfiles to where ever you want . I NEVER use the Olympus software too long winded . Hope it helps :)

Have you tried another USB cord? If your camera had software, you might want to do that over again.
