Question about Nikon AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 ED Nikkor Lens
I have a nikkor 70-300mm 4.5-5.6G VR ED lens on a nikon D80 and it is really slow focusing from near to far and vise versa. I have to manually focus to help it get to the focusing range then it is fine.
I also have the standard 18-70mm 3.5-4.5G which is fast focusing and no problem.
When using the manual focusing ring there is slight click between the 6-10ft marks.
