Found this posted under Whirlpool instead of Sharp, but I'll be happy to answer it here.

While that one may not be available, we have one that may be close enough to work:

SOURCE: bulb replacement

I realize this is late but for other's here it is:
If you can get to the three phillips screws directly over the vent door then you do not have to take the unit down. Unplug the unit. Remove the top three screws over the center of the louvre and then carefully lower the vent louvre. (Lowering helps me get a better grip on the louvre assembly. Then you will slide the vent louvre assembly about 1/8" to the left and then it will pull straight back and out. In the center is an aluminum cover which has a phillips screw facing you. Remove this screw and the cover plate. The light bulb is directly to the left of the inside of the cover plate. You will see the metal tabs which hold it in place. Pull the bulb housing assembly straight out (to your right) as you face the microwave. Then you will locate your halogen 120V 20W bulb.

SOURCE: Changing light bulb in microwave oven

If there's no obvious removable cover over the bulb (and the owner's manual doesn't address it) some disassembly may be required.

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

The screws you need to remove should be pretty obvious, but a special driver (such as a T20H type or GTXH20-100) may be needed.

Be sure to put all the screws back in the right holes, since some may be special grounding screws.

Bulbs can be had in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Many models use halogen lamps. You must not touch the new one with your bare skin, as the oils will shorten the bulb life.

The light bulb assembly (bulb and socket are all one piece) is part number
WB36X951.

It is located on the air duct assembly where the door switches are mounted.

You can see an exploded view diagram here.

You'll need to remove the outer cover (wrapper) to get to the bulb assembly.

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

See these links before proceeding:

Generic answer:

You probably have to remove the case. DO NOT TOUCH THE SILVER CAN - LETHAL. There are probably 8 phillips or torx head screws to remove the cover.

Alternatively, their may be access inside, where I would look first.

Let me know if this works.

Are you talking about the light inside the microwave? The front vent I think will allow you to get to the bulb. Should be a couple of small scrrews holding the vent cover on, remove them take vent off. Start it up again and see if the light bulb wiring or socket is arcing

Replacing lightbulb in Sharp R953M combi microwave oven

most microwave ovens built in the last 20 years do not have an
access panel to the light bulb. you must remove the screws on the back of the microwave that hold the outer sleeve in place.
Then pull upward and backward on the sleeve to disengage it
from the front lip of the chassis. the light bulb should be close to the front of the microwave behind the control panel. Some lights
are not unscrewable from the socket, but the socket and bulb
come as an assembly.

I fixed it by reading how to fix another model. What you do is take the cover off, the bulb is on top. Make sure that you unplug it before starting.

On these models, the oven must be pulled from the wall mount, then the outer cover must be removed. This is apparently to limit the manufacturer's liability. Removing the microwave from the wall is really a two-person job, since it is heavy and awkward. You don't want it to fall or slip, and the edges can be sharp. It helps a lot if you saved the original installation instructions. Once the oven is out of the wall, you can then access the lamp socket. These bulbs are special halogen types that must not be touched by bare hands, since skin oils will shorten their life. You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your model number here: http://tinyurl.com/gv383
