Question about Televison & Video
If the sound on other channels is normal, check your TV set's stereo settings and check if it's in "SAP" mode. This is for "second audio" which is sometimes used for additional programming like weather reports, or to provide another language soundtrack to a show. If you have SAP turned on, it makes no difference unless the set gets signal from the station and switches. Some remote controls have a single button to select audio modes, so it might have been turned on without you knowing it.
