Question about Acer Aspire One AOA110-1113 Netbook

Internet connectivity is constantly cutting out. I have to DIAGNOSE CONNECTION PROBLEM get connected again every 20 - 30 mins.

Please do confirm wireless or wired connection. If wireless ,reset wireless modem,install new wireless software (third party) or make sure wireless adapter in good position.
If wired run winsock fix, make sure ur lan cable socket is not loose, or try differnt cable,check windows update or antivirus.

Have an acer Aspire One netbook and for some reason I cannot connect to the internet even though it is saying that a wifi connection has been established. This has never happened before


If you are connecting on an open WiFi (does not have WEP or WPA enabled), then make sure you are connected to the correct SSID (wireless ID) and not on some other open SSID. If you are on the right SSID, check that you don't have limited connectivity due to low signal strength. If OK, then open Internet Explorer to use its Diagnose Connection Problems tool...
1. click on Tools tab
2. click on Diagnose Connection Problems...
3. click on Next button and follow the steps
If unsuccessful, try powering off the wireless router and the cable/dsl modem for a few minutes and then powering up the modem first followed by the wireless router. Once the netbook has re-established the WiFi connection, repeat the above procedure to Diagnose Connection Problems. Finally, if still unseccessful, connect directly to your wireless router using an ethernet cable from one of the four RJ-45 LAN ports on the router to the netbook's 10/100 ethernet RJ-45 port on its left side. A LAN connection icon should now show in the bottom right of the Desktop's Toolbar. Hovering the mouse cursor over it shows the Local Area Connection pop-up with Speed and Status. If Status is connected, then open Internet Explorer again and use its Diagnose Connection Problems tool to check connectivity to the internet. If still unresolved, the next step would be to log into the router to check its WAN status and depending on the results, you may have to contact your Internet Service Provider.

There might be a problem with your internet connection. make sure your computer is connected to the internet. click troubleshoot to begin a series of tests to try to diagnose the connection problem


first of all delete ur lan driver and install it again.

still same then goto internet explorer properties,

then goto connection,in connection in down right corner is "lan setting" check there is there any ip u write before just delete it and remove the "v" tick from check box

n then try it

Lan problem


You LAN is not connecting to your Internet Service Provider, hence the LAN has a red X and therefore cannot open a WEB page.
Check your LAN cable, make aure it is connected to both the LAN port on the modem and the LAN port on the computer.
The red X on the LAN should disappear when the network connection is re-established.
Also power off your modem for 1/2 min, and power it on again and restart your computer.

Wireless device keeps cutting out.


Have you checked to make sure that you settings for you wireless card is set to Obtain IP Address under the IPv4 section? and Also check to see if there are any newer drivers for your wireless card! Let me know if ANY of this helps

we had similar problem earlier and unformtualtly we have to install the OS again. you can first check you firewall setting, try disabling firewall and check. Or will suggest reinstall the OS.
You can also try running antivirus/antispy/CCleaner etc before that.

Cannot sustain network or internet connection


It is quite possible that your issue is due to the DHCP function of your router. I would check the DHCP settings and the lease time that is set. Its quite possible that the lease time is running out and its having difficulty renewing a new IP.
