I will give you a few Quick fixes, but before that, let me point out that you are experiencing that because your phones operating sytstem(OS) can not fully load and hence phone doesn't fully startup. Causes; corrupt operating system. To confirm, remove any memory cards(if any) and try to startup phone. then remove simcard and try to start up phone. if your phone isn't properly reading(loading) simcard or memory card, it can behave in that way. if still it doesn't load even if simcard and memory card are removed, then your OS is corrupt and you need to flash( reprogram your unit) go here for further help. otherwise, clean simcard slot if unit started properly without card and make sure its properly inserted. Also, memory cards of over 4gb are not supported in your phone.

Hi, first of all the two blue arrows going in a circle means the gps on the phone is on and secondly you go into menu>settings>gps settings to turn it off..
Take care

I have a IPOD nano MC526LL that keeps playing the same song or podcast over and over. This is something new. can you help??

Sounds like you've accidentally touched the repeat button.

1. Play the song.

2. On the Now Playing screen, you will see play and volume controls (bottom of the screen).

Under the album title is a scrubbing bar that indicates the time remaining of the song.

3. A small icon that looks like two circular arrows is on the left side below the scrubbing bar.

Tap this icon once to repeat the album. The icon will turn blue when repeat is activated.

4. Tap the icon again to repeat the current track. The icon will change to show the number 1 inside a blue circle.

5. Tap the icon a third time to turn off repeat. The icon will turn white when it's deactivated.

I have a Icon on the top of my bI-phone that is a small lock with a arrow circling it. what does it mean?

It means that your screen is lock. It will stay on vertical position even if you use/turn your iPhone in it's horizontal position. This is helpful when you read books or play games while you are lying on your side so you won't have have a hard time reading the screen. (=

What is the iphone lock symbol with circle arrow around it?

Orientation lock. This means that the screen will not switch between portrait and landscape mode when you rotate the phone.

To enable/disable orientation lock:

  1. Double-press the home key
  2. Slide the icon bar to the right
  3. Press the (lock)/(circle arrow) logo to toggle the lock mode

I've used the internet but do not have free access, I know have a small blue icon at top of screen which looks like a 'blue dot with signal lines coming from it, which I cannot get to go away?! please...

Looks like your wifi is on and is set to the default internet option. Turn off the wifi first by going to the wifi icon in your menu and tapping the wifi circle in the middle.
To change the internet profile i.e. 3G go to menu/internet/settings/internet profiles and choose your preffered option, normally you will need to request internet settings from your network provider by sending a text.
The blue icon you speak of is tells you wifi is on this should go away once wifi is deactivated better to do this as wifi eats up the battery on this phone big time.

The songs are on repeat - will not go to next song on the list...the ipod is 2 days old !!!!!!

Step 1: Go to Music, and then select any song to play.
Step 2: You should now be at a screen with the album art and play controls on the bottom. Tap the screen and you will see little icons near the top where the timer is.
Step 3: Tap the icon with the circle arrow until it is no longer highlighted in blue. Your iPod should now be playing normally.

Hi! To turn On the flash you just need to press the flash button on the top of the camera., Flash button is like a down arrow or lightning icon., make sure that the flash symbol is set to A -icon or eye- icon or may be a down arrow symbol., if you see on your LCD a circle icon with a down arrow it means your flash is off., Gudluck!
