You can get a USB Memory Card Reader to read your SD/SDHC Memory card from your Camera. Using copy & paste to transfer your Pics to the PC.

or

Download the "ZoomBrowser EX 6.3.1 free" @ http://www.brothersoft.com/zoombrowser-ex-download-253511.html and use the updates from Canon Support Site.

I want to copy pictures from my PC back to my camera but it won't let me do it. How can I do this?

No it is not possible to transfer pictures from PC to your CANON as the image quality changes. Yes you can transfer pictures from CANON to your PC (because it will auto adjust the image quality by windows). The best solution is to remove the SD card from the camera and put it on your PC. If the camera had a built in memory card...use the software that comes when you by the camera. Install it then transfer between PC-CANON and CANON-PC is possible.

LOST CAMERA DESK

You don't need any installation disks with xp spk3, just plug usb cable to a usb port on pc, xp will detect mass storage device and will assign drive letter. Go to my computer and open camera drive letter and copy pictures to local folders. Or you can remove SD card and read with SD card reader. If you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:

Official Canon Drivers and Software

Canon USA:DRIVER & DOWNLOADS

After downloading is finished, unplug the USB cable and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.

Transferring of pictures

you can just plug the camer to the computer using the USB cable it came with or any USB cable that will fit.

once connected your computer will install the needed files, just wait until it says done or "installed and ready to use".

after that go to "my computer" then look for an item there that has a camera name or a "removable storage", double-click on it.

usually the images will be in a folder that says DCIM

-i have a Canon A460, so it should be the same folder.

if you have other questions just lemme know okay...

Transfering from canon dc210 to my pc

Before you can transfer pictures or video from your Canon DC210 to your PC you need to finalise the disc in the camcorder.

You also need to make sure that the DVD drive on your PC is capable of reading a DVD-R, DVD-R DL or DVD-RW format as these are the only disk formats that the DC210 will handle. Not all PC DVD drives can read these formats.

To finalise the disk you must have the power adapter connected to the camera, plugged into a wall socket and turned on. Then, switch on the camera, put it into playback mode, Press 'Func.', select main menu, select 'disk operations', select 'finalise'. Don't move or shake the camera or switch it off whilst the finalising step is underway - this could cause problems.

Once finalising is complete, put the disk into the PC.

Good Luck.
