Question about Kenmore Dryers
I am a former appliance tech. I am doing a favor for a friend by attempting to fix her kenmore electric dryer. I isolated the dryer door switch as one problem. Continuity exists on the same two wires whether the actuator is depressed or released. I used a jumper on the door switch wire harness to simulate a closed door state and I used a jumper wire across the push to start button. I get power over to the timer, but the motor won't engage. I also have continuity across all thermistors (Blower and Element)

Hello friend, thank you for your post!
Based off the information you have provided, I understand that your Frigidaire dryer is displaying an "E52" code and the dryer will not start. Typically an "E52" code stands for motor fault, I would attempt to perform a reset on your appliance by disconnecting power for roughly ten minutes. After the reset if you are still receiving the error code I would recommend having a professional come out to diagnose and repair the appliance. Best of luck. -Matt
