Your problem is not that clear, so we may need to ask for further details about this problem. Do you just want to change the Home page on your home computer so when you open your Internet explorer of Firefox it will automatically load yahoo.com?
If you just want to do that follow this steps. On internet explorer click on Tools and click Internet Options and under general tab you can change the home page from comcast.net to yahoo.com. Do the same thing with Firefox clisk Tools and Options and then general tab.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It depends on the email account. Most outgoing servers are set to smtp.domain. For example, for a Yahoo account it's smtp.yahoo.com or smtp.comcast.net, etc

I am not able to send or receive my Yahoo mail. I

Hi
Follow these steps.
ncoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication)
Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")
Email Address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)
Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password

If you want to use Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird or other third party email clients to view your email you have 2 options.
Subscribe to mail plus:
http://billing.mail.yahoo.com/bm/Upgrade…

or download and install YPOPS
http://ypopsemail.com/

then follow the directions for your version of outlook here,

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or…

If you have trouble with set up, check the YPOPS installation page for alternate set up instructions.

http://dbeusee.home.comcast.net/
Click on YPOPS link on the left.
Then Click on Configuring email clients towards the bottom.
Choose the appropriate link for your mail client.

I currently utilize version 2.0.0.4 of Thunderbird
and version 0.8.3 of YPOPS (there is a more recent version of YPOPS that you need if you are Yahoo Beta Mail) and have no problems.

Unable to get emails from Outlook Express. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity....

Who is your ISP? Is your Outlook Express correctly configured? Make sure your servers are correctly defined, ie for Comcast it might use mail.comcast.net for incoming, and smtp.comcast.net for sending. Your ISP has these server names they can give you.

Set up email using Comscast.net on my iphone

Settings icon on the Home screen, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account. Select Add Acount. Select Other.

Put in your name, email address and password. It should be able to look up the pop and smtp info; however, if it doesn't:

Comcast incoming mail server: mail.comcast.net
Comcast outgoing mail server: smtp.comcast.net

Hope this helps,
BReady

My iPhone wont send email. It says the senders

when you type in the smtp address in the email setup don't type in "smtp." just type in "comcast.net". This worked for me although not on a comcast.net account

Cannot receive mail into Outlook Express

your incoming server should be set to mail.comcast.net - not localhost and not Rich (outgoing server should be set to smtp.comcast.net) - this according to comcast.net website.

cheers

Outlook Express Setup - error message

contact comcast and get the pop3(outcoming) address, and the SMTP (incoming) address
"mail.comcast.net seems correct but the outcoming smtp.comcast.net seems wrong.

SSL is the secure socket layer. SSL provides encrypted flow of traffic for your email. If your provider does not have SSL, you will need to connect without this additional level of security.
