Question about Husqvarna Sewing Machines
JUst obtained a second hand Husqvarna Viking 19e (no manual) which operates but I cannot seem to feed the bobbin correctly to enable the cotton to feed through and not snag up at the needle. Has anyone any info on how to feed the cotton or access to such info. Any info would be appreciated. Regards Lauren
What a great machine! I found an excellent review of this machine and your manual for sale at http://www.sewingonline.co.uk/machines/viking19e/.
This is in England, but I've ordered manuals, books, etc from England before with no problem.
You really need a copy of the manual. for most of my machines (but I don't have a VIking) the bobbin unwinds from left to right--but this is no quarantee yours does the same. Each machine is a little different.
Sometimes a good cleaning (being sure to get out all the lint from the bobbin assembly area), a new needle, and a careful rethreading will solve this sort of problem-- but you still need the manual.,
Good luck and again, congratulations on buying a great machine! Let me know if this solves your problem.
