Question about Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
I noticed a lack of suction, turned the machine off and checked all the removable parts for clogging. I found nothing. I found a slight motor smell. When I tried to turn it on, it would do nothing. I checked to make sure that all the parts were connected properly, and still it would not come on.
If you are getting a motor smell, then either something got into the fan and stalled it, or the motor went bad. Afraid it will have to be taken apart and checked. Can you turn the brush roll, if not there maybe a problem there.
