Question about Sebo X4 Bagged Upright Vacuum
Sounds like the flex is damaged. This happens most often either right near the plug or where the flex enters the handle. There may be no damage visible externally, but still the copper wire inside can be broken. You say that moving the flex about makes a difference, so you will know where the problem is. If the damage is indeed at one end, then you can simply cut the flex and re-wire it. If you need to have someone do it for you, get a firm quote as it may be cheaper to fit a complete new handle (there's no labour cost involved because the handle just slides in). I hope this helps!
