Hi, If your electric oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating lelement in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself... Check out this tip that I wrote about the Oven not heating problem..
the electric ignition is bad and needs replaced in oven. I had the same problem a few months ago and it was the ignitor for the oven. if replacing it yourself, be very careful with ignitor, it is very fragil. do not touch ignitor itself, hold on to it by the base of it. they are not that hard to change.
Check to see if the coils are properly connected. If so, you may need to replace the thermostat unit, which monitors the actual oven temperature. Hope this helps.
The flame is 'yellow tipping'. This means there is incomplete combustion and will leave black soot on everything. Did you recently start using propane? If so the stove will need to be converted to propane use, or the incoming gas pressure is too high. You may need a gas professional to check the gas pressure.
if the timer is on hit cancel or reset then hit clock and then use up and down arrows to set them also locate the serial plate and give me the mod num will be a buch of num like 106.48062890 around the bottom drawer on the body of the range or around the oven door if the eoc or clock isnt lit go turn the breaker off for 5sec and let me know
I have a Kenmore glass stove, not sure what the model number is I don't have it with me right now. Yesterday, the timer started to beep and F1 started to flash in the display. The stove top is working, but the oven does not. The only way I can get the timer to stop beeping is to unplug the stove.
Any suggestions as to what is going on with this stove. It's only 4 years old.
Just bought a Kenmore and did this conversion myself. You do not change the oven nozzle (jets) but have to wrench it down with a 1/2" wrench as per instructions. After I did this the falme was high as you described. I wrenched it down further and adjusted the air shuttle and it was fine. The brioler is done the same. The wrench adjustment is tight so be aware.
