My colors are out of alignment

hello What you have is a convergence problem. There is 2 modules inside your set that aligns the colors to have the same geometry and superposed . It is a common problem in rear projection tvs ,
You don`t have to worry about your blue tube , i`m sure it is perfectly fine, it just needs to be aligned through the convergence circuit.
Most often the problem is with those convergence modules that are faulty and need to be replaced.

Hi luke I am in the uk and not familiar with this set is it a three tubed crt television or an lcd projector type .. either way what you are descibing is convergence ( three primary colour guns all pointing at the same spot in a nutshell ) in the case of a crt projection tv three tubes one red one green one blue .. there should be a convergence pattern in the menu to re set the convergence via the remote check the manual . If it isn't adjustable you may have a scan coil fault or a tube ie : green with low emission check the green colour gun transistor and associated circuit for leaky caps resistors that have changed value or transistor leakage .. and don't forget the ever popular dry joints on the scan coil plugs .. hope this helps Vortash

try going to the antenna input from the menu screen, then trying to do the auto focus, or manual focus. My Samsung won't let me do the auto focus unless I'm looking at the antenna for some strang reason.

same here, fuzzy blue when trying perfect focus, all other colors are sharp. I have the 2 STK392-040 package

Its a problem with the screen, Plasma depends upon a chemical and eletrical impluses to create a display... I think you might just want to change the screen.

perfect focus functions are based on service mode setup...or factory settings. if the alignment of these setting are loss then the unit wont perfect focus. does the unit have a complete loss of convergence. a complete loss of convergence indicate possible failure of convergence amps.

Perfect "FOCUS" is a misnomer.Convergence is the real issue.Enter servicer mode--perform accurate convergence alignment procedure--activate perfect focus as last step to 100% alignment.If you have a High-Definition source,check procedure for that.
