The E73 error is caused by the scaler chip at the back of the console taking too much heat. To fix it you need to stop the heat build up.

You can do this yourself using a good guide that will show you how to fix it with household items or you can send it in and they will fix it for you.

What does error code E05-73 on my Panasonic DP-C263 mean and how can I fix it?

E5-73 is a HDD Abnormal Operation. First try turning the system off, counting to 30 and turning it back on. If it persists you want to check the HDD connections. May be a failed HDD. Panasonics exact answer is:

1. HDD connector is disconnected.

2. SC connector is disconnected.

3. HDD is defective.
4. SC PCB is defective.

Our 73 stay on as long as it is being primed so you have keep priming it to keep it on, then turns off 1 min after we stop priming it either reads ee2 or ee6

This site http://livesupport.maybenow.com/Rinnai/Rinnai-Toyostove-Direct-Vent-Heater-Laser-30-pr254029 handles prime issues directly for the unit. I would recommend contacting an individual in person that can assist you with the prime issues. This is a very sensitive issues which is best handled by having the problem fixed in person and not via email, chat, phone. (Lots of Danger factors)

I have the error 73 showing on my screen. how can

E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port. Try this troubleshooting. Remove the A/V cord from the back of the XBox 360. Stick two sticks into the fans to prevent them from spinning. This will cause the system to overheat within five minutes. You will know its done when the first and third quadrants light up red on the system (indicating the system has overheated). Unplug the system, plug it back in and turn it on to see if it was successful. (Note: While this method does not void your warranty, if your XBox is still under warranty I suggest sending to Microsoft to fix.

Thank you for using Fixya!

E 73

Hi, this is a E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port. unfortunately this issue will require the attention of a microsoft tech. this actual port is integrated into the entire mother board and microsoft doesn't sale this actual part to the public.

i recommend sending it to microsoft for this repair.

E 73 error code

Try this, I saw this on a u-tube vid, and i can't believe it worked. Turn on unit until the red light flashes and the error code(E 73) shows up on the screen. Next insert toothpicks in the back of the console(while unit is running) into the cooling fans, this is to suppose to overheat the console and start two red lights flashing. Turn off console when this happens(unplug all cords from console) and turn the system back on. Like I said it worked for my system and I hope it works for all of yours out there.
