My paper feeder does not work anymore. I suspect that one of those springs on the "roller" is not in its proper setting. There are two wires from the spring that seem to have moved out of position.
The paper either does not feed, or 2 and 3 sheets feed at the same time.
Is it time to get a new printer -(Lexmark X63 All-in-One)? Or can I fix this myself?

Printer would not feed paper no matter how many sheets were in the bin or how clean the printer. I even cleaned the roller. The issue was I just needed a little more tension on the roller that pulled the paper in.
I removed the rear access door (see manual). Off to the left near the feeder roller you will see a spring. What I did is mover the spring to the END of the plastic arm that it is attached to (if it is missing ..you have a bigger problem). If you have moved your printer around a bit, the spring may have slipped down on to the arm and is no longer sitting at the end. This will extend the spring another 1/16 of an inch ...and that is all all it took for me. My printer will now feed a single sheet of paper with no issues. BTW: I put a drop of glue on it after so it would not slip off.
Did you replace paper feeder with new one? Most paper feeder problem are rubber at paper pick up roller (bottom side) and small spring at bottom paper pick up roller. Check for "something" slip at paper feeder and lubrication at paper feeder mechanic.
Replace the paper feeder or the rollers on the paper feeder are not rolling ar getting jamed. You need to have this serviced or just get yourself another printer. Lexmark are what I call in my expert advice throw aways the better ones are epson, xerox,HP and so forth. Please leave positive rating and feedback thanks
Check that all of the sliders in the feeder tray are snug against the paper. Sometimes they tend to slip out and allow the paper to wiggle in the tray resulting in a crooked feed. Other possibilities are dust buildup on the rollers, or worn rollers causing the paper to slip on its way through the printer.
have you tried cleaning the separator pad inside the automatic document feeder?
try to Load one or two sheets of unused plain white full-size paper into the document feeder tray, and then press Start Copy Black to pull the pages through the automatic document feeder. The plain paper releases and absorbs residue from the rollers and separator pad.
If the problem persists, clean the rollers and separator pad manually
Check for a jam again somewhere in printer unit, rollers, teeth, down back in paper feeder area. I thought i had no jam in my unit either until i got a torch and found the tiniest slip of a shred barely noticeable right in the middle of the teeth/roller. Remeber to turn it off after this, to reset it.
