Make sure u typed your user name correctly. While entering password make sure your caps key is off.

If you really forgot your password, on the login screen, if only your user name is displaying, press control + alt + delete, u will get a checkbox to enter your user name, here enter administrator for user name and press enter. Why Does User Authentication Fail When the User Logs In to the Switch from the Web System?


The possible causes are as follows:

The user name or password is incorrect.

Run the display local-user command to check whether the user exists.

Run the display local-user username user-name command to check whether the user password is correct.

There is no HTTP user access type.

Run the display local-user username user-name command to check whether the AuthMask field of the user contains H (HTTP login).

The user connected to the switch is full. The switch supports a maximum of five users.

In the search bar type Google login. From among the results select the one that gets you to the Google Login page (see below). Click the link where it says Need help?. That will display the next screen. Follow instructions.

Forgetting your Windows XP login details might at first seem like a disaster. Don't panic though; your login password and username are easily recovered by changing the login details to that of the administrator.

Begin with your computer turned off, and then turn it on. You will need to log in to your computer manually and this can only be done in the load-up screens. Wait until your computer reaches the Windows login screen. The screen usually displays a "Welcome" message. Press and hold the "Ctrl", "Alt" and "Delete" keys two times at the Windows login screen. Your computer will automatically reveal a Classic Login box. Type "Administrator" (without quote marks) into the "Username" field and leave the "Password" field blank. Windows automatically creates an Administrator account when your computer is first booted up; in this account you can alter or change any user's login details. Navigate through the "Start" menu and click on the "Control Panel." In the Control Panel explorer, double-click on the "User Accounts" icon to open a new window. Select "Change an Account" in the User Accounts window and select the username you want to alter.   1. Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. The Login screen will be displayed.
  2. Enter the System Administrator userID using the numeric keypad on the Control Panel, or select the [Keyboard] button on the Touch Screen to enter the userID, and then select [Save] on the Touch Screen.

Try using administrator for user id and leave blank password field , press Enter then.
Or if you failed that way try using password as password.

When windows displays the logon screen, Press Ctrl Alt Del simultaneously twice. You will be presented with a login box. Type Administrator in User name, leave password blank, and click ok. If you have no administrator pasword set then you will be login to your computer

HI,my name is Monica and unfortunatelly i can't get in my computer,it is not recognizing my password,says that Group Security failed the log on...and any time i try to get in i can't ..it says about reset...


Start your computer and keep pressing f8 key ,then you will get  "Windowsg Advanced Options Menu " screen,Choose "safe mode" now you willl see some black n white lines coming up after which your system will start.Now when the login screen comes choose "Administrator" as the login name and you will come to desktop ,Now click on start > then "Run" type user "userpasswords2" wihtout quotes ,Now you willl get the User accounts where you can reset the password...
