Question about Dell Latitude D505 Notebook
The power port or DC jack needs to be replaced. There are small tabs within the jack that hold tension and proper positioning of the adapter plug. When these tesion bands wear down or the plug gets pilled out and pushed in over time, there is less and less contact between the components.
