Washer is not getting dishes very clean, is there a filter or something I can clean

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Dishes not getting clean is caused by either a restricted drain, (usually the problem) or larger than usual particulate under the lower wash arm tower.
The restricted drain can manifest itself:
- At the pump outlet, (remove hose and inspect drain port)
- At the air gap at the sink (remove cover by lifting straight up then unscrew the inner cap nut and remove the particulate) NOTE the installed position of the upper cap under the net as it will only go back together in one position)
- At the Air Gap outlet hose connection (remove hose and inspect plastic tubing)
- At the sink connection. This can be either a direct plumbing connection or a garbabge disposal connection. (remove the hose and inpect drain connection.

As far as the lower wash arm tower
- Remove the lower wash arm.... NOTE the stack up of parts... it only goes together one way!!!!
- Remove the lower wash arm tower screws
- Lift off the lower wash arm tower and clean the screen area.
- Remove the screen and check in the pump impeller area for a broken inpeller or damaged pump housing.

I really need the long model number if you need further assistance. The model number will look like this 220.13599000 but the numbers could be something much different.

Thanks for choosing FixYa
Kelly

When the washer spins it makes a banging noise and the plastic around the tub shaves off

Thank you! We took our Duet 9150 apart and found that ALL THREE support arms were cracked. Same problem with shredded front tub also. My washer is a little over 7 years old. I called Whirlpool at the above number (you can't get "warranty service" but the parts service lady transferred me to the warranty dept). They were most helpful, and are shipping me both the metal tub AND the plastic which the metal destroyed, free of charge. Apparently your experience has shown them they have a problem with this...or I got a more helpful service agent!

How do I access the inlet water valve to change it in a Kenmore 110.82880100?

First, see the Sears Parts / diagrams for your washer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=+110.82880100&pathTaken=partSearch

Look at the section on the Rear Panel Parts #27 and you should see how the inlet valve connects.

Then see the following for how to release the console and pull the cabinet:

http://www.american-appliance.com/catalog/newsdesk_info.php?newsPath=16&newsdesk_id=131&osCsid=894dfbbe68fb2a6a2d34fbf0abb0cf24

Finally, see the following Whirlpool / Kenmore Service manual for top load, direct drive washers.

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/f7e2147fa98b28cf85257122007475cb/$FILE/L-55.pdf

Armed with those three references, you should easily be able to get to and replace the valve.

As an aside, On the Sears site, when it references a Manufacturer Authorized Substitute part number, the Number is a Whirlpool number.

Upper arm on my model number gld225crdb3

Peace ,
This was listed at the washer site!
But I see that you have a gallery dishwasher from Frigidaire!
If the arm came off then there is a worn or broken part!
Better call service !
If I was there for hands on inspection then I could determine what
part you may have that malfunctioned but they vary.

Bless You,
please rate me on this site before signing off
