My quartz radiant heater 4940 series has a crack in the water reservoir. Can I repair it? If not, do you know where I can get another and do you know the price of it?

SOURCE: Is it safe to plug a 1500 watt Marvin quartz

You had a low end cheap receptacle more than likely or possibly a loose wire on the receptacle. You should have #12 wire fed from a 20 amp breaker and a 20 amp spec grade receptacle.

My Quartz heater is making a buzzing noise, what could that be?

The buzzing noise was coming from the back of hte unit on the lower left side. It may have been a "stuck" switch & tapping on the side seemed to fix it.
