Hi I had this same problem. And after hitting every button I learned that on the remote there is a button that says display you simply hit that and it removes it off the screen.

Dell 2407 Can't get rid of "No S-video input signal" message on screen. How do I get rid of this?

Your S-Video connection is referring to a round plug for a TV input signal. Most computers will not have this connection unless you have a TV based video card. If your using a TV 'monitor' as your computer's video device, their will either be a button on the monitor or your remote to allow you to choose the input signal. If you are using a VGA or HDMI or DVI cable as the connector between the two devices, most likely, the light is referring to one of these, as its video source. You will need to match the cable & monitor source detected to get a usable picture output.

Good luck.
Toby.

If I plug in powered monitors to the digital input... will it get rid of my error code 02 displayed on the screen ?

Never go from a PA (powered (amplified)) speaker signal to the inputs of a recording device. This can severely damage the electronics of the input/preamp. That error code may be getting caused by something else. For more details on how to use digital ins:

I have a Polaroid FLM-373B 37 " tv and I get a blue screen with "No Signal" in the top corner. Cant seem to get it to find a cable signal, dvd signal or anything. I have successfully...

That situation clearly indicates that no signal is coming to the set in its present setting. Have you checked to make sure that the tv's input is set on the right input setting. Mine always defaults to "Antenna" which drives me nuts cause I get that big blue screen with "no signal". It seems to do that at the slightest provocation, too. After 5 years, I still have to think twice before checking it. If that is not it, make sure that the cables are plugged in. If that doesn't fix it try another type of input such as HDMI or S video, composite, etc - one that you are not using. Don't forget to switch the input to it. Good luck!

I am not able to record from my TV at the moment. I have L-2 or L-1 on the screen and don't know how to get rid of them. I think they are causing the trouble.

On your remote there should be a button marked INPUT, press this until you have the TV signal. The L-1 and L-2 are line inputs for other devices such as a DVD player.

My settop box has given me a blue screen and now i

A Blue Screen, means that there is NO signal be "Given" to the "Input" that the TV is currently using. Try another "Input" or check your antenna is OK, you are "ON" the right "Input" too.

I have a model av48p776 jvc I am getting jitter lines across the screen more often than not and the bright comes and goes what do I need to do to fix it I would hate to get rid of the TV I just bought it

JVC AV48P776 Jitter and Brightness Varies

Check for convergence failure. Convergence Gallery Try adjusting convergence in user menu. If convergence display is messed up or adjustments do not work correctly, you have an Intermittent short circuit within an STK IC.

Look at menu screen with an unused input (antenna or video). If menu is stable and clear, TV may be OK and you may have a signal input problem.

If it is not poor quality input signal or convergence problem, someone has to troubleshoot to determine if it is a Video, Processing, Power supply or CRT related problem.

Most likely convergence.
