Casio QV-3000EX - I switch the camera on - to either record or

Casio QV-3000EXWhen I switch the camera on - to either record or play - the lower green LED next to the viewfinder on the rear of the camera flashes for about a half second, but nothing else happens. Camera will not turn on. Batteries have been checked and are like new. Tried a new set of batteries anyway - same problem. Any way to "reboot" this thing??

I have the exact same problem. Any luck fixing it? I don't know if it will help but there is a firmware update available for this camera...going to give that a try.

Battery Life

Your SD memory expansion card may be damaged.
Try the same procedure without the expansion SD card.
Use the Casio QV-R40 10meg memory with same camera settings.

Casio qv-r61

Hi I took my QV-R61 to the Casio Authorised service center. The lines problem has been diagnosed as a defective CCD image sensor and the the cost of replacing this (Rs 7K) is almost the cost of a new camera!! Too bad this camera is now useless!

Casio QV-40

To tell you the truth.....NO. You can buy a new casio camera for cheaper than fixing your old QV. Alot of times too the QV isn't going to be compatible with XP or VISTA.
