Hi, I just purchased an 8025, and after inserting an 4 GB sdhc card, it says card is full when trying to make a pic, what could be the problem?

Hey welcome to fix ya. I hope u 'll be fine
May be the card which u r inserting will be full that's why when U r inserting it in 8025 its don't allow u to save more data in it.

First of all connect your device to your pc and check the properties of removable disk (memory card drive) which is in My computer. if free space is not available then first delete all your useless data from your memory card and then insert it again in your 8025
secondly if again occur the same problem then your card will be corrupted so first format your card by clicking on format it will take some time and card will be formatted and then try again by inserting card in 8025

Note : in formatting the card all your card data will be removed so first copy the important data and then do format it.

Clear it by putting in a compatible memory card. The S1030 works with SD cards. Your 8GB SDHC card in not compatible. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Maybe it is having trouble with the size of the memory. Memory cards have grown enormously in capacity in the last couple of years, and even relatively new cameras may not be able to cope with the memory size of the newest cards. It is often difficult to find out the maximum capacity a camera will use, as today's memory cards are much larger that those available when the manuals for the camera was written.

SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

The camera only holds one picture, and that only until you turn the power off. To take and store pictures, you need a memory card. The 8025 uses SD and SDHC cards up to 8GB in size. These cards are available at just about any department, electronics, and office-supply stores.

Hi,

A 4 gb memory card is beyond the capacity of your Cannon A540. It is too large. I would stick with a 1 gb card in that camera.

I can't get the memory card to go into the camera. Vivitar ViviCam 8025, SDHC Class 4 memory card. It should fit on top of the battery in the same compartment.

If I'm not mistaken, the 8025 can't handle an SDHC card.

I JUST GOT AVIVICAM 8025 - WHEN I SHOOT A PIC THE SCREEN READS FULL, THE MEMORY CARD IS NEW. THE CARD IS A SANDISK SDtm CARD 2 gb.
