Question about Televison & Video
Tv shuts down by itself, then i bang on the back then replugit back in run my hand on the picture tube to create static.then works for awhile.thanks
Your problem may well be a loose connection ( cold solder joint ) on the printed circuit board. A person would need to disassemble the set and remove the printed circuit board so that you can view the soldered side. Look for any connections that may be loose or discolored ( the color on all the soldered places should be a shiny silver color ). When you have located these area or places that seem to be different or loose, resolder them with a soldering iron, and electronic solder lead. You set should be fixed. Good luck and I hope this has helped.
AS A NORMAL PRE CAUTION, ALWAYS UNPLUG THE SET BEFORE OPENING OR REMOVING THE BACK
