Print gets black too much

Are you getting alot of background? If so then the developer is overtoned & needs to be replaced. If you are getting black lines then that is caused by the main charge being dirty, upper fuser roller needing to be replaced due to wear or the drum is "lined" out or the drum blade is warped.

MAINTANANCE M2 MINOLTA BIZHUB 163

Need to have the drum and developer and cleaning blade replaced, then have that M2 counter reset. Resetting the counter with out replacing the drum developer and cleaning blade will cause codes and image problems. Machine uses the counters to determine voltages for certain assy. If you clear the counter and not replace the parts the machine adjust voltages for the drum and developer assuming it new when in reality it is old.

One side of the drum picks up the print from other documents and smears the print on to fresh documents. How do I clean the drum?

You don't clean the drum. You either need to replace your maintenance kit , or my better guess is your using generic ink sticks and you need to use the sticks xerox makes for the machine.
The problem is that your not getting effective cleaning from you maintanance kit

Extra line on copies

if you are feeding the paper through the document feeder... then the rectangular **** glass is dirty... clean it...

if you cleaned that and it still shows lines... do a drum refresh...

still lines... developer refresh...

if still lines then clean charger... still lines... replace charger...

still lines... replace drum
