302 bronco stalls after it warms up and won't start till it cools down

I am guessing its your TFI or Thick Film Ignition module. Usually located on the underside of your distributor, its either grey or black in color and often when it is going bad it acts like this: Usually starts fine, runs ok for about 20 min then engine dies. cranking engine sounds normal but no start. checking spark will have no sparks. Leave hood up and allow to cool (also TFI very hot to the touch) I packed Ice around it once (in a ziplock) that made it run in about 45 min. NOTE: get ready to replace real soon because its on the way to breaking down.

Tip

To increase data transfer rate b/w PCs

If the data transfer rate between two PCs over a LAN is slow, stop any firewall service if running in both PCs. This will increase the data transfer rate between the PCs.
This can increase the throughput if your are backing a set of servers using a master backup server. Or any scenario where is there is flow of data between two windows systems.
PS: This is not applicable to all the antivirus firewalls. Also i don't recommend to keep the firewall disabled, if no other alternatives are planned well.

Top thread keeps breaking

Don't ship it back and the problem is not the tension settings. Even on the tightest setting the thread should not break. Most likely the machine is not threaded correctly. Possibly, you are using too thick a thread or a needle that is too small.

Solution back to basics:
1. verify that you are not using upholstery thread. Use a standard cotton poly mix.
2. the bobbin thread should be the same as the top thread.
3. consider watching a video showing the machine being threaded and make sure the needle is in the top position.
4. sew a test pattern on a normal weight fabric like an undershirt - avoid very thick material.

If this solves your problem then change one item at a time. Use a heaver thread if that is what you want. If it works ok then go to a thicker material, etc. Do not change two or more things at a time..If you have a problem it makes it hard to identify the source.

Using my presario cq57 to connect with a 802.11n xdsl router not a very fast connection. why? wireless internal modem on laptop

Can you please provide more details about your router ..like model # , and which operating system do you have on your laptop .
1.To ensure that you are getting the best speeds from your 802.11n router , be sure you are using the WPA2 password configuration and enable WMM. You may also choose to have no password protecting your network, though security risks obviously increase with that choice.

2. Don't Connect Draft 11n and 11b/g clients to the same routerAn 802.11n router can also work with 802.11g and even 11b devices. But these much slower devices force the router to slow down to talk to them, which means a big throughput hit. Fortunately, the "legacy" mechanisms are pretty efficient and reduce throughput only when the slower devices are actively transmitting or receiving

3.Don't use Channel Bonding -If you are changing the Channel Width or mode from the default 20 MHz to the 40 MHz (or "Auto 20/40" mode in some routers) channel-bonding mode, you could be reducing, not increasing your throughput

Where do i find a belt for ryobi 18v planer model cpl 180

If you have the remnants of the old belt, take it to a well stocked hardware or auto parts store. If the belt is missing, you will need to measure the width of the outer 'V' on either pulley, the diameters of both pulleys, and the distance from shaft center to shaft center. The folks at the store can compute the proper belt width and length from that. Be sure to set the motor position so that there is about 3/8 to 1/2 inch deflection of the belt at mid-point and that the two pulleys are in the same vertical plane. This will greatly increase the belt life. Hope this helps!

How to enlarge a picture that is scanned or copied? When i scan or copy a picture it is too small and I want to enlarge it in order to view it better.

hi

Open an image. Go to the Image Menu and select Image Size. This is where you can change an image’s resolution and print size (width and height). The following Image Size dialog box will appear:
image_size_cs.gif
Notethat the width and the height of the image as you view it on yourmonitor is not necessarily representative of the image’s actual widthand height—i.e., the size it would print out at (print size).Average monitor resolution is 72 dpi. If you view a 72 dpi image at100% in Photoshop, chances are that it will appear on your screen inits actual print size. However, this is not true when viewing a 300 dpiimage. A 300 dpi image viewed on-screen at 100% will be enormous. Don’tget tricked into believing that what you see on your monitor is whatyou’ll get when you print or place the image into another application. The best way to determine what your image’s actual print size will beis through the Image Size dialog box.
When the Resample Imagebox is checked, any changes you make to an image’s width or height willnot change the image’s resolution, and as such, any changes you make toan image’s resolution will not affect the image’s width and height.Keep in mind, however, when you increase width and height, orresolution, with the Resample Image box checked, you are adding pixelsto your image. These pixels don’t actually exist so Photoshop mustcreate them. As such, you will succeed only in degrading the quality ofyour image.
If you want to increase an image’swidth and height, or resolution, then uncheck the Resample Image box.Now any changes you make to the image’s width and height will changethe image’s resolution, and vice versa:
  • If you decrease resolution, the width and height will increase.
  • If you increase resolution, the width and height will decrease.
  • If you increase the width or height, the resolution will decrease.
  • If you decrease the width or height, the resolution will increase.
Thebest way to increase the width and height of a scanned image is to scanthe image in at a high resolution (about twice what your finalresolution should be), and with the Resample Image box unchecked, decrease the resolution. Once the image width and height is where you want it, you can then check the Resample Imagebox and type in the resolution you want if the resolution is too high.At this point, as long as you don’t increase resolution, or width andheight, your image quality will not suffer.

Wii Controller into TV - - Very Bad

An LCD TV, from front to back, consists of these layers:

protective film - <1mm thick
liquid crystal cells - <1mm thick
charge screen - <1mm thick
backlight panel - 5-10mm thick
metal heat spreader - 2-5cm thick
controller board - 1mm thick

Your son most likely damaged the liquid crystal cells...

Unfortunately unlike normal TVs these are precision assembled, and there isn't much you can do to fix it.

It is possible to replace the screen, but it involves replacing the entire unit, from protective screen right to controller board. In other words, almost everything except the plastic case.

Unfortunately I think the tv is busted permanently, and it will cost more to repair than to replace.
