SOURCE: Does the following show any deficiency with the mother board?

Hello there.

As the errors say, there are no drivers installed to make the motherboard function correctly. Your Windows Operating System only knows so many drivers. So what i recommend is to download and install the drivers for your motherboard.

For Windows XP professional click here

The drivers you need on that page are as follows, please install them in this order as well or it may not work correctly.

document.write("Chipset: Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility for Intel® Desktop Boards")* Chipset: Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility for Intel® Desktop Boards (1342KB)
* Video: Intel® Extreme Graphics Driver (5410KB)
* LAN: Intel LAN [V6.4_PRO2KXP_ONLY.EXE] (8798KB)
* Audio: Realtek AC97 [AUD_ALLOS_5.10.0.6020_PV_REALTEKAC97.EXE] (24333KB)
* USB: USB 2.0 [USB2.0.EXE] (1106KB)

This will install the drivers for your Chipset, Video, Network, Audio and USB.

Afterwards everything should appear as installed in device manager.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: installing sound drivers

First, visit this website:

http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/gc/gc_drive.htm

Next up select Windows XP Professional as your operating system. Now click, "Drivers." The first result should be the Realtek drivers, which are what you're searching for. Download them. Once they finished downloading open the file and the drivers should be installed automatically.

If there's anything else I can help you with, let me know. If this solution solved your problem, please rate the solution.

How to install Windows XP software,..... in Windows 7

This is a short guide on how to install the Windows XP compatible Driver or Software/application on Windows 7 system. There are many applications and hardwares which are not compatible with Windows 7. For example, many old machines/computers don't have drivers to run all the hardwares on Windows 7. Of course, most drivers have been updated by the respective manufacturers, but still there are numerous left out.
In this demonstration, I am going to use CDS/ISIS for Windows (Winisis) as the software which isn't compatible with Windows 7. I don't mean you should install this to perform the steps, but I am only taking Winisis as an example, the steps should be more or less similar and I do hope that readers will definitely understand to perform following the steps below.

Step. 1. First of all, download or save the driver/software/application setup file i.e. install usually named as "setup.exe" on your computer. You can create a folder or you can simply save the file on your Desktop. The setup file may have different names, but that's not the matter as long as you can identify which one to run. Now locate the setup.exe file, in the below example, it's "Winisis15_3".

nonontech_61.jpg

Step. 2. Right click the setup file, and click "Properties" from the right-click drop down menu.

nonontech_62.jpg

Step. 3. The properties "Dialog box" will pop up, cick the "Compatibility" tab.

nonontech_63.jpg

Step. 3. Now on the "compatibility" section, click select the check box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and click the tab just below the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:", from the drop-down list, select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)"

nonontech_65.jpg

Step. 4. Now, select the "Run this program as Administrator", cick "Apply" and then "Ok" to close the Window.

nonontech_64.jpg

Step. 5. Go to the folder where the setup file is saved, double-click to run, the Window 7 "User Account Control" warning message dialog box will pop up (if it's not disabled) click "Yes"

nonontech_66.jpg
and follow the onscreen instructions to install the software/driver/application. The install steps will proceed ahead without any problem. Once the install is completed, restart your computer for the changes to take effect. You do not need to restart after every install, but if you are prompted to restart, do so.

Cheers!! You now have windows xp driver/software/application installed on Windows 7. Thanks for dropping by :).

NB. You can also perform this on Windows Vista to install Windows XP driver.

*Please leave comments for issues related Windows 7, I am ready to share with you all and am also glad to learn from you too..

I need drivers for smart label printer pro

It would help if you had mentioned the Operating system and model number

The official Seiko site is:
Software Driver Downloads

However, Seiko has deleted its legacy printer support so you may have to find your drivers on a third party site
SLP Related Drivers
SII Printers Drivers Download for Windows 7 8 XP Vista

Note: With Seiko Smart Label printers make sure your printer is not connected to your computer until the Seiko software tells you to.

Important tips when finding and downloading application/ driver software from non-OEM sites

1. Never install any application from a non-OEM site that says it will scan your computer to determine what files you need. - search using the manufacturer name, model number, and current operating system on the computer you want to install the device on.

2. Only install the files you found. Never download any software suggested.

3. When installing the downloaded files, always select Custom Installation to make sure you only install the software you need. In this case only the application and driver files, nothing else ( no driver updating, security scanning, toolbar, etc. programs).

Fix kernel dell xp

There are several different ways that kernel.dll errors can show up on your computer. Here are some of the more common ways that you might see kernel.dll errors:
  • "Kernel.dll Not Found"
  • "This application failed to start because kernel.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
  • "Cannot find [PATH]\kernel.dll"
  • "The file kernel.dll is missing."
  • "Cannot start [APPLICATION]. A required component is missing: kernel.dll. Please install [APPLICATION] again."
Kernel.dll error messages might appear while using or installing certain programs, when Windows starts or shuts down, or maybe even during a Windows installation.
The context of the kernel.dll error is an important piece of information that will be helpful while solving the problem.

Cause of Kernell.dll Errors
Kernel.dll errors are caused by situations that lead to the removal or corruption of the kernel DLL file.
In some cases, kernel.dll errors could indicate a registry problem, a virus or malware issue or even a hardware failure.

How to Fix Kernel.dll Errors
Important: Do not download kernel.dll from a "DLL download" website. There are many reasons why downloading a DLL file is a bad idea. If you need a copy of kernel.dll, it's best to obtain it from its original, legitimate source.
Note: Start Windows in Safe Mode to complete any of the following steps if you're unable to access Windows normally due to the kernel.dll error.
  1. Restore kernel.dll from the Recycle Bin. The easiest possible cause of a "missing" kernel.dll file is that you've mistakenly deleted it.
If you suspect that you've accidentally deleted kernel.dll but you've already emptied the Recycle Bin, you may be able to recover kernel.dll with a free file recovery program.
Important: Recovering a deleted copy of kernel.dll with a file recovery program is a smart idea only if you're confident you've deleted the file yourself and that it was working properly before you did that.
  2. Run a virus/malware scan of your entire system. Some kernel.dll errors could be related to a virus or other malware infection on your computer that has damaged the DLL file. It's even possible that the kernel.dll error you're seeing is related to a hostile program that's masquerading as the file.
  3. Use System Restore to undo recent system changes. If you suspect that the kernel.dll error was caused by a change made to an important file or configuration, a System Restore could solve the problem.
  4. Reinstall the program that uses the kernel.dll file. If the kernel.dll DLL error occurs when you use a particular program, reinstalling the program should replace the file.
Important: Try your best to complete this step. Reinstalling the program that provides the kernel.dll file, if possible, is a likely solution to this DLL error.
  5. Update the drivers for hardware devices that might be related to kernel.dll. If, for example, you're receiving a "The file kernel.dll is missing" error when you play a 3D video game, try updating the drivers for your video card.
Note: The kernel.dll file may or may not be related to video cards - this was just an example. The key here is to pay very close attention to the context of the error and troubleshoot accordingly.
  6. Roll back a driver to a previously installed version if kernel.dll errors began after updating a particular hardware device's driver.
  7. Run the sfc /scannow System File Checker command to replace a missing or corrupt copy of the kernel.dll file. If this DLL file is provided my Microsoft, the System File Checker tool should restore it.
  8. Install any available Windows updates. Many service packs and other patches replace or update some of the hundreds of Microsoft distributed DLL files on your computer. The kernel.dll file could be included in one of those updates.
  9. Test your memory and then test your hard drive. I've left the majority of hardware troubleshooting to the last step, but your computer's memory and hard drive are easy to test and are the most likely components that might cause kernel.dll errors as they fail.
If the hardware fails any of your tests, replace the memory or replace the hard drive as soon as possible.
  10. Repair your installation of Windows. If the individual kernel.dll file troubleshooting advice above is unsuccessful, performing a startup repair or repair installation should restore all Windows DLL files to their working versions.
  11. Use a free registry cleaner to repair kernel.dll related issues in the registry. A free registry cleaner program may be able to help by removing invalid kernel.dll registry entries that might be causing the DLL error.
Important: I rarely recommend the use of registry cleaners. I've included the option here as a "last resort" attempt before the destructive step coming up next.
  12. Perform a clean installation of Windows. A clean install of Windows will erase everything from the hard drive and install a fresh copy of Windows. If none of the steps above correct the kernel.dll error, this should be your next course of action.
Important: All the information on your hard drive will be erased during a clean install. Make sure you've made the best attempt possible to fix the kernel.dll error using a troubleshooting step prior to this one.
  13. Troubleshoot for a hardware problem if any kernel.dll errors persist. After a clean install of Windows, your DLL problem can only be hardware related.
Applies To
The kernel.dll error message could apply to any program or system that might utilize the file on any of Microsoft's operating systems including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000.

Error in scanner. Turn off scanner and follow instructions in manual.Scanner driver will be closed. (code:201) Unable to open TWATN source Please check connection Then re-start Toolbox.

This error can be caused by many different issues. Try the following resolutions in order until your issue is fixed-

    1. You should disconnect and reconnect the USB cable at both ends to ensure there is a secure connection on the device side as well as the computer side. It may also be necessary to try a different USB port on the computer. Additionally, you may need to disconnect other USB devices, temporarily, in order to determine if a conflict exists.

    2. unistall and re-install drivers-
    1. Place the CanoScan Setup CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
    2. When the CanoScan Setup Utility menu appears, click the option to 'Uninstall the Software' and then follow the prompts.

    3. Disable Third-party Software
Software applications that are active during installation can cause errors, installation difficulties and even abort the installation.*1 Close all running applications, including anti-virus programs, before installing Canon Software. You can also prevent these applications from starting through 'System Configuration Utility' (also referred to as 'msconfig') in Windows 98/Me, Windows XP and Windows Vista.

If your computer is part of an office network: Network permissions, security software, etc. may be interfering with proper communication. Please contact your System or Network Administrator before attempting to disable software on your system.

    a. See your applications' documentation for instructions on how to close it.

    b. If you are unable to locate the documentation or the application appears to be running after it is closed, disable the startup items in the Windows 'System Configuration Utility'.

    c. If disabling startup items in 'msconfig' does not correct the issue, disable non-Microsoft related services in 'Services' tab of 'System Configuration Utility' window.

    d. Attempt to install the Canon software (drivers). If the drivers were already installed, uninstall them (keep the third-party software disabled) and then reinstall the drivers.

    e. After installation is complete, set 'msconfig' back to 'Normal Startup'.

I've tried for several days to connect to Kodak Easy Share and always get the message: has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Either the software is corrupted or is not compatible with your Operating System. There might be problems with your hardware device also (Kodak Device). First of all when the error occurs we have to find why this error occurred. We have to get more details about it. To do so: We have to examine the Error Logs.
    1. Please click on the Start Menu. Type Run in the search box - in Vista - or click on Run - in Windows XP.
    2. Type this and hit enter key. Eventvwr.msc
    3. Go to the Application Category. Check for errors (Red oval with X on it). If there are errors - see the details - for the Application please post it here. You can read the messages and understand which Application that the error is related with. Check the Date and Time values to verify that it is the exact error related to this software.
    4. Then go to the System category and check for errors related to the System if you have connected the Device to the PC. If exists please let us know.
Solution: e easiest solution is to uninstall the software and re install. Download the recent version from here. Note that Apple Quick time is required by the application. Download it from here. Installation Instructions and Operating System Compatibility - Now compatible with windows 7 as well.
Please rate the answer as well if it helps you to solve the problem.

Have Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)on a new HP laptop computer. Am trying to install PrintMaster Gold 2.0. I get error messages when it is nearly installed. Broderbund told me it is compatible with...

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
(make your program/application run with windows 7)

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))

    MSVCR71.DLL NOT FOUND

If the error started appearing soon after you have installed a new application or device driver, then it is possible that the error is occurring due to problems in the installation. To fix the error in this case, uninstall the software you installed and reinstall it.

Many times, errors related to DLL files, such as Msvcr71.dll, occur due to malware infections. Download, install and run Malwarebytes.

    Hope this helps.
