There are 3 possible causes

1. cables are not connected properly
2. computer is not turned on
3. computer is not working, its not starting up, and the issue has noting to do with the display. Please take your computer to a professional repairer or get someone to come over to sort out the issue.

When i plug up the L1975NW lcd monitor what should show up ?

"no input" means that there is no signal from computer or the monitor cable is unplugged. When you first turn on monitor it usually does a self test and then looks for signal. Not connected to PC will give a no signal. If it is connected but PC is off (not unplugged) then it should go into standby as you vid card will be sending a standby signal to any monitor connected. Sometimes the Plug and Play monitors need to register before it will recognize a standby signal from PC, so plug it up and boot up PC. Then shutdown normally, your monitor should go into standby when the PC shuts down.

Screen keeps going black like timing out but monitor remains on

Hello there,
Make sure that the connection between your computer and the monitor is secure both at the computer and at the monitor. When you monitor goes into standby, it is losing its signal from the computer.
I hope this has helped! Thumbs up are much appreciated!

What would cause your power button light on the monitor keep blinking and the screen is black and you have trouble getting the light to stay on and get the picture back on. what is the problem. thanks,...

If the button on monitor is blinking, it means your computer is either turned off or in standby mode (or in hybernation).
You should push the power button on your computer to restore it from standby (or hybernation).

If I Come Out Of Standby, Gateway FPD 1830 flickers, then black

It's a bad back light inverter. These models are NOTORIOUS for them. It's a simple fix for a technician and not very expensive. I fixed mine about 2 years ago and it's still going strong.
You can purchase replacement inverters and if you're handy with a screwdriver you can fix it yourself.

Monitor keeps goin in to standby

If the Display shuts down after you see a BenQ logo at startup but power LED remains on,the problem is with the Invertor board.Transistors 2SC5707 are known to be defective with other related components. You can try replacing if u are technically able and willing.

Dell E178FPf LCD monitor goes to standby and won`t come on again

Check your Power options in Windows.

right click on the desktop. select properties, Gop to the screen saver tab, click on the power button at the bottom right and check to see if its set to turn off or standby the monitor, turn this off.

Keep the screen saver on and set it for like ten minutes.

Also, on the monitor itself, it may have a sleep or power save option set as the default. check all the monitor settings on the actual moniotr itself.
