Desktops shows black and white horozontal strpes

    does stripes appear outside windows? or on certain programs only? what is the name of the graphics card on system?

I have the same problem with my laptop ... basically, the internal ribbon cable needs to be reset. This will involve dismantling your laptop to resolve this issue. Otherwise, you can use an external monitor ... this is what I am doing, haven't gotten around to fixing yet.

Panasonic TV has a white line across it (No Picture, just a line)


The vertical output ic has loose solder joints. The back has to be removed to do this. The reference number for the ic is IC451. Thanks for using fixya.

Horzontal white lines cut through print and picture copies. When doing head allignment the horozontal bars all have a white gap, 1 through 7. Epson Stylus CX5400


You don't need to do head alignment, because it is for vertical banding in printout. Vertical banding can be minimized by disabling high speed option without doing head alignment. If your printout have horizontal white lines, do check nozzle and head cleaning, or you can minimize white lines by printing in best quality (photo).

My desktop back ground show some time white color and some time black?


Right Click on the desktop background and go to properties. On the desktop tab there is an option to change the color of the desktop background.

also check the dvd player set up menue some times you have to choose wich outlet your using like the rgb cables, s cable etc...
