Next time send the full model number, starts with 110. or similar,i would change out the gas coils located on top of gas valve, do one at a time and look for a metal spacer that needs to stay on post, sometime it slides off when you remove the coil, only on one of the coils, also if you haven't cleaned out the dryer it would be a good idea to do so, unplug dryer,if lint filter is on top remove the filter and the two screws in front of filter, remove the vent line if it's a long run blow it out with a leaf blower or shop vac but leaf blower works better, take off back wall and take out the four screws that hold the duct in that the filter slides into, clean out the duct, put it back together except for the two screws on top,now pop the top and remove the front panel and vac out the inside,if you have a shop vac blow out the dryer motor and all,if filter is inside remove the bottom panel take out the lint filter and remove the duct the filter slides into and clean it out,if you have a shop vac blow the lint from the back to the front so you don't have to pull the drum, blow out the vent line, you should do this once a year you have an open flame in there and you don't need a fire, your dryer will run better and last longer

Kenmore gas dryer #41793142300 electronic start doesnt heat up

if you first have heat and then like 10 to 20 minutes later no heat you could have bad gas coils,on most gas dryers there's a plastic cap you can pop off on the front panel so you can look in and see the ignitor,if at first the ignitor glows orange and the flame lights then after a few minutes the ignitor glows orange and the flame doesn't light you have bad gas coils, they are located on the top of the gas valve, easy to change.part number 5303931775 go here and look at part 71

Hi,
yes..

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly. if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip.... If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat. check outthis electric no heat tip...

I ran the drier 3 times using medium press. The heat is on and it is hot, but the clothes is not dry.

Hi, Does this dryer heat at first and then stop heating late in cycle?
Remove the lower front panel and start the dryer. Look and see if the ignitor glows and if you get a flame or not. If the ignitor glows and then shuts off before you get a flame, the coils on top the gas valve need changed.
If the ignitor does not glow, UNPLUG the dryer and check the fuse located on the blower housing (whits with two wires going to it). Check and see if it has continuity to it.If there is no continuity, change it.
Please let me know if this helps you so far.
