when u defragmented ur disc on pc , u might have been running any security software ( most likely ZONE ALARM ) in many cases which can acquire a permanent storage on ur hard disk which cannot be defragmented... resulting in this situation.....
Most possible solution : if ur able to restart pc then try to defragment again in safe mode other wise the only other alternative u will have to format disc and re-install the OS you have.....
