Question about Adobe InDesign CS2 for Mac
I've had CS2 installed on my MacBook Pro OS 10.4.11 for at least two years without any problem. Suddenly it's asking for my serial number to open InDesign, but when I enter the legitimate serial number it says it's not valid and won't let me access the program(s). When I try to reinstall from the CDs (which are an upgrade), it asks for the CS serial number, which I no longer have. What can I do???? Please help!
It is asking for the original serial number and if you still have the install disks, should be with your documentation.
If you can't find it, a new version will be required.
Why not go back in time when it worked and use the time machine to recover the old system.

The best way is to create a PDF in InDesign, then Draw will see every aspect (most of the time) of your original document. Hope this will FixYa... if not, please let us know.

You may have purchased a pirated copy of the software. You need to contact Adobe, and they will help you to determine the validity of your software purchase, and get you a new serial number or re-activate your current one.

In Design CS 1 won't open. the error message reads as follows: "In Design Cannot verify your serial number, please reinstall." I just spent about 30 minutes on the phone and the adobe knowledgebase and obviously they won't be helping with such an "old" version. I thought you might be able to enlighten me.

Try first Uninstalling the program from control panel and reinstalling the Adobe suite after restarting the computer.
If it did not work, try doing a system restore to some times ago, before you had the problem , then reinstall CS2
If you still have problems, it may be an operative system problem.
