You will need an Expansion Pack that will give you slots to plug in standard PC cards like WiFi to your PDA. The following link is a place to get one:

http://www.pdapreferred.com/hp-compaq-ipaq-h3670-expansion-pack-dual-pccard-216198-b21-.html

Once you get that, you will have to buy a PC card that handles WiFi. These are cards that were used with older laptops that didn't have network capabilities built-in.

Good luck.

How to use wifi in my desktop computer

Most desktops do not have a wifi card built into them. You will need to purchase a wifi card and install and then you can use the wifi.

If your wifi card is installed, look for the wifi icon on the bottom right for a windows computer(look for a icon similar to your cell phone signal icon) or top right on a mac( look for an upside down triangle with a round top) . Right click on it and make sure it is turned on.

Atheros AR5BXB63 is gone from Device Manager

Sounds like your hardware WIFI card has failed inside the laptop. The easiest thing to do would be to get an external PCMCIA or USB WIFI card. Many of them are available for under $15.00 on ebay.
I would suggest a PCMCIA WIFI card which will leave your usb ports free.

You can check with ACER to find out what a new wifi card would cost and if they have any manuals to show how to replace it. I have had many laptops pulled apart and it is much more difficult to replace internal cards and parts than on a desktop.

Below is a link to an ebay page with laptop WIFI cards auction listings.

I hope that this information .helpful and will leave positive feedback for me if you do.

Thank You,

Brian

What to i need to upgrade my dell 2400 to be wireless and wifi

WiFi -- As for the WiFi card that is literally plug and play, particularly if you have the XP service pack w/ the wireless networking utility.

What you want to do is purchace a PCI wifi card. I usually get my parts from tigerdirect.com or newegg.com. Once you get it in, you will need to remove the screws holding on the side of the computer(usually the left pannel) and you will then see 3 small empty slots on the motherboard. you will slide in the wifi card untill the two hooks on the side of the slot click into place. (Make sure you are as grounded as possible before taking out the wifi card from the static free bag.) When you buy the wifi card, it will probally come with a cd with drivers on it. install those before installing the actual card.

Wifi support t5

If you want to get WiFi, the only WiFi SD card available for the T5 is the Palm WiFi SD card. No other WiFi card compatible.
The SD card fits into the SD slot, but the card is longer than standard SD cards, so part of it extends out of the slot. This is the antenna for the WiFi radio. Also, you must install the drivers for the card or else it won't work properly. Drivers are available for free download at Palm's site. Linux will not work either without the card, sorry.
