How many ways can you select 3 members out of 9 republicans: nCr (9,3)

How many ways can you select 3 members out of 10 democrats: nCr(10,3)

For each single choice of 3 reps you have 1*nCr(10,3) possible subcommittees.

Hence the total number of possible suncommittes is nCr(9,3)*nCr(10,3)

Explictitly

# of possible subcommittees is [9!/(3!*6!)]*[10!/(3!*7!)] or 10080

To calculate you can use the explict formula above or use the nCr function of your calculator

To access the nCr( function press [2nd][5] (MATH) [7:Probability][3:nCr]

You can also just type the name of the command respecting the case ( C must be upper case)

When in doubt i turn to infowars.com in this election alot of people will say alot of things about both candidates. HIlary took money from these people, Trump took money from these ones. IF you have the time, check out The Obama Deception. Its not just about the current president, democrats, republicans, its about our country and how its run. Keep an open mind and see for yourself :)

Assume that the letter "a" represents the number of 7th graders.

Since there are twice as many 6th graders we can call them "2a".

There are 57 total members, we can make the following statement:

2a + a = 57

We can simplify this to say 3a = 57.

Divide 57 by 3 = 19. (this is the value of "a")

There are 19 seventh graders and 19 x 2 sixth graders or 38.

38 + 19 = 57

1=10^0

10=10^1

100 (2 zeroes after the 1)=1x10^2

1000 (3 zeroes after the 1)=1x 0^3

1000 000 (one million) =1x10^6

1 billion =1 000 000 000 =1x10^9

100 billions =100x 1000 000 000=(1x10^2)x(1x10^9)=

1x(10^2)x(10^9)

Now use the power multiplication rule**(a^n)x[a^m)=a^(m+n)**. Thus

1x(10^2)x(10^9)=1x10^(2+9)=1x10^(11)

**100 billions =1x10^11=10^11**.
