You have formatted the HDD in another computer and the “boot manager” was destroyed.
There is no operating system on the HDD and therefore the error
message: “BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" appears
The second message “PXE-M0F: Existing PXE ROM” says that the notebook
tries to boot form the LAN but it’s not able to find an OS using the
Why all this error messages appears?!
Well, I think the CD/DVD drive cannot read the inserted WinXP CD and therefore in switches to LAN.
Note; You can boot from the drive by pressing the “C” button
immediately after notebook starting or you will press the F12 to get
the booting menu. Then you could choose the ODD as booting source.
If you will be not able to boot from your WinXP CD I assume either the CD is faulty or the CD/DVD drive cannot handle this CD.
there is some system files are missing . Go to start menu then type in run "cmd" then ou see command prompt.type there "sfc /scannow" then it scan for corrrupt system files when it need winxp source put the winxp disk in cd-rom then it get files.
Ok just to clear the question up... I you just installed a new HD in your laptop and have already downloaded your recovery cd that came with the pc then you are asking for the remaining drivers that you are missing... if so here is what you need to do. If you are not missing your internet driver go to www.driveragent.com this requires a yearly membership of I think 29$ This will scan your pc and give you the drivers to download. If you just installed a new HD and if you turn your computer on and get nothing this is because you did not install your recovery disk,,, if you do not have your recovery disk ONLY Toshiba can provide this and you can order it from them. I would also call Toshiba for your driver disk as well if you cannot get on the internet...
