This does not appear to be the problem. When I go to applications there is nothing that says fun wall. All privacy settings are set for everyone. The posts still show on my profile page under wall. They just disappear from the live feed after several hours. They show on the live feed initially, but then they disappear. Every post I've made is now gone, but I can still see on my profile wall page.

I was on facebook about an hour ago, and they are doing a bit of site maintenance currently. You may continue to see some glitches for a few hours, but should be back to normal in a matter of time. If you refresh your browser page, you may see your posts in the news feed. You may wish to give it a little more time.

Thank you for using FixYa.

HI,

Think you must have installed fun wall application and here is the solution:

Basically, what fun wall does is it includes a ticked box when you load up the application, that says to hide our wall. and becoz you would have not concentrating or aware of that, neither you must have unchecked that when you installed it,
All the posts is just hidden it, not deleted it, so when you get it back all your messages are still there..Here is the procedure to get back all those stuffs

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

Proceddure to change the setting of your wall:

    Go to applications,
    go to fun wall,
then go down to where it says 'hide your old wall' (which is what we did). so next to that is 'go to your profile settings - click on this'.
then reset your wall bit to 'only my friends' or whoever else. basically anything else other than no-one.

and that's it, your wall will reappear! but they don't make it easy for u..

Cannot share to facebook?

Facebook and Twitter are both amazing social networking sites. If you use Twitter, you know that one of it's great features is the Retweet, which allows you to pass on a post you receive to your friends and followers. Retweeting makes it very easy to share information in Twitter.

Facebook also allows you to share a friend's posted link in much the same way as a Retweet! Using the Share feature, you can post a friend's item to your own Profile and Live Feed, while giving them credit with a Via message.

This lets all your friends see posts that you receive from people that may not be on everyone's list. It's a great way to pass on fun, interesting or important links that you want to share with all, or just some, of your friends.

It's easy to use this feature. Here is How To Use The Facebook Share Via Feature.

First of all, Facebook currently doesn't let you Share everything that your friends post. You cannot Share their Status Updates or Photos.

You can Share any of their Posted Links. This would include websites, links, or videos that a friend or organization posts to their News Feed. To simplify how to know what things you can Share, just look for the word "Share" under the item. It will be next to the "Comment" and "Like" choices, and if it's there, you can Share! If a friend has posted an item that you want to Share and post to your Profile page with a Via credit, click on the "Share" link underneath the item. A "Post To Profile" box will pop up. You can write a message in the text box that will post along with the Shared item, or you can just leave it blank and let the post speak for itself. You can also click on "Send as a Message instead". This allows you to share the post with just one friend, a list, or an email address. The default setting is to display a small thumbnail picture of the posted item along with the post, so if you don't want the thumbnail to show, you have to select the "No Thumbnail" box. Normally you would use the default setting and display the thumbnail. Let's say you choose to Share it on your Profile and Live Feed. Just click on the "Share" button to post the item. You will get a confirmation message on the screen that the message was posted to your Profile. Click on your Profile or the Live News Feed to see how the Shared message looks to the rest of the world. The originator of the message will be given credit by placing the word "Via" in front of their name by the reposted item. You've just done the Facebook version of a Retweet!

Why are some of the posted photos on my news feed not showing?

You would have given a privacy to the photos. So you must break that privacy to access as you want.

I block my friend on fb because of potho of me she tag but i not like now how can unblock her?

Facebook allows users to customize their individual news feed to filter out posts made by applications or friends that a user may not wish to view. The process of hiding friends and applications from your News Feed involves the click of a button and you can very easily hide a friend or application by accident. You can always restore a Facebook friend or application to your News Feed by following these simple steps.

1. Login to Facebook.
2. Go to your Facebook home page and make sure your News Feed is displayed (as opposed to "Live Feed").
3. Scroll down to the bottom of your News Feed and find the Edit Options menu on the right.
4. Click edit options and a box will pop up showing what you have hidden from your Facebook News Feed. Hidden posts are separated by friends and applications.
5. Find the friend or application that you wish to unhide. Once you've found it click the Add to News Feed button next to your selection. You will now once again see posts from that person or application in your news feed.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

Too many people on my page

Hello.
Move the mouse over one of the posts from those people and on the right a "Hide" button will appear. Click it and then click on the first button of the three that appear after that (e.g. Hide Chris).
This way, all updates from that specific person will not invade your wall any more.

When I log onto facebook, it automatically comes up to a page titled "News feed". I think this should be my "Wall"? Once I leave the "News feed" page I never see it again?

When you log in Facebook will automatically go to newsfeed. If you want to see your Wall go to the upper right hand corner and click Profile. When you want to go back to the newsfeed go to the same upper right hand corner and click on Home.

I cannot get the entire news feed and all on my facebook homepage. there is always an error coming. hardly i can see anything done by all my frnds recently. only 3 or 4 posts r visible on my homepage. but...

Facebook changed their site a little bit. News Feed aggregates the most interesting content that your friends are posting, while Live Feed shows you all the actions your friends are making in real-time.

You can control how many friends are shown in Live Feed by clicking "Edit Options" at the bottom of the page.

The News Feed algorithm bases this on a few factors: how many friends are commenting on a certain piece of content, who posted the content, and what type of content it is (e.g. photo, video, or status update).

You can remove friends from the News Feed list (from your default stream) simply by clicking the "Hide" that appears when you hover over their story in your stream.

To add someone back to your News Feed, follow these steps:
  1. Scroll down to the bottom of your News Feed and click "Edit Options."
  2. If you are looking for a friend, scan the list to find that person. If you are looking for a public profile, select the Public Profiles tab.
  3. Click "Add to News Feed" to see their posts again.
  4. Click "Close" to save your changes.

Facebook enables you to see what’s happening with your friends through past events and real-time feeds of information. Highlights and the News Feed were combined into a single stream so that you could have more control over what you view on your home page and stay connected with your friends.

As a result of this change, you’ll notice that the Suggestions section has been moved to the right-hand column of the home page. Also, birthdays and events are displayed more prominently on the home page.

When someone sends you a friend request, public stories about you may appear in their News Feed. If you decline a friend request from this person, public stories about you (stories that have the privacy set to "Everyone") will no longer appear in their News Feed. Please note that News Feed will never show stories that a non-friend wouldn’t ordinarily be able to see. For example, if you posted a video and set the privacy to "Friends," a person who is waiting for you to approve their friend request would not see that in their News Feed. If you had set the video to be visible to Everyone, that person would see it.

You can always change your privacy settings by selecting "Privacy Settings" under the Settings drop-down menu and clicking the appropriate section.
