Your issue seems more like a hardware problem.Did you drop the phone recently? Is it happening with all calls?
Maybe the internal microphone is broken. Try with your handfree headset. If it works fine with handsfree, the internal MIC is broken. Take it to the repair shop and get it checked. If it is still under warranty you will not be charged for it.
Try resetting your phone, if this does not work then it is probably not an internal problem.
Most often this is from simply debris getting clogged in the microphone... seeing as the microphone is a miniscule hole, a small piece of debris can cause major problems.
To fix this: 1. Find the microphone, (it is the tiny dot next to where you plug in your earphones) 2. Get a needle and poke around in it, tip it upside down, and any lodged debris should fall out. 3. Test it out.
