Question about Acer TravelMate 240 Notebook
Im trying to restore my laptop to its factory setting. but it will not boot by cd which is included when i bought the laptop. i enter in bios system and go to boot section by cd. after i inserted the bootable cd, i press exit and the save changes. but when i press yes, the windows logo appear and start logging to the windows. so, can somebody help me with my problem? im not actually a computer guy. im just trying to know the computer with my own. tnx in advance and more power.
It still sounds as though you aren't getting it to boot proper... You have to make sure the CD/DVD is set to be the ONLY boot device, it MUST be the first one... when it starts, immediately tap the enter key and make it boot from DVD/CD... If it still won't then either your disc is suspect or your CD/DVD is faulty.
