Hi sm

Are you able to view Adobe files on the computer you are trying to print from?

If so then simply click File > Print in the top left corner of the screen. Pick your printer from the list then click print.

If you can't view .pdf files then you may need Adobe Reader which you can download here. Simply click on the 'Download' button and follow the onscreen instructions.

Please let me know if I can be of any more assistance and good luck!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

When I attempt to convert a word document into an PDF file I get a message "missing PDF maker files" I'm given the option to say yes or no to "do you want to run the installer in repari...

From the info you provided, seems like your Adobe Acrobat Professional wasn't installed properly or there are some missing files.
If you have the installation file, try installing the software again.
(When you click on Yes, nothing happens because adobe cannot find the Installation/setup file on your laptop.)
If you do not have the Adobe installation files, as an alternative download CutePDF writer. Its free and hardly takes any space on your pc/laptop (<4MB)
Direct Download Link for CutePDF
Once downloaded, install the software and follow the steps below:
1. Open the Word file you want to convert to pdf
2. try to print it
3. before printing, the time when u have to select your printer, select Cute PDF Writer as shown in the image below
4. Click on print

5. The Word document will be printed as a PDF file and you'll be asked where you want to save it :)
6. Choose your destination.
7. When the printing is completed, you can open the pdf file in Adobe PDF reader
* You don't need a printer to do this
* You can follow the same steps and print excel/powerpoint files to pdf (or any other file type that you can "print")
Hope this helped!

If you use Adobe Acrobat you can scan the document from there straight into PDF format. There are other programs that will do the same and you can command the scanner from the software.

How to print pdf files They come as attachments to emails.

You need to have a program to view these files.

Adobe reader is freely available on the internet. After loading this file onto your computer, click on the file you want to see and it should automatically open Adobe and allow you to view it.

I am not able to print PDF Files. I have Adobe

You must have a printer installed in Windows so that it can be put in the menu of Adobe. You will then be able to print from Adobe once the printer is installed via Windows control panel.
