You sometimes have to press the "connect" button on the USB receiver and then the "connect" button on the mouse. You may have to hold it down for a moment for it to sync up. Try it several times and comment back if it doesn't work!

Good Luck,

It depends...sometimes that will work, but I would press the USB first and then the mouse one.

Im found a Logitech TrackMause model T-R18 cordless with the USB adapter. I connect it in my okd laptop with Windows XP and work only one time. Now no work with my new laptop with windows 7 64 bit

All you need to check is the battery on the remote unit. Now open programs and uninstall the mouse from the list. Now reconnect after shut down and see if the mouse is detected and installed. if not check the mouse on a different PC to confirm if your PC is not corrupt.

The mouse pad sensor not working and right click not working

try to remove the mouse from the port and put it again. Then restart the pc so that the USB port for mouse will be updated. Try other ports if it is not working, otherwise replace your mouse if it still did not work..

My mouse has frozen on my Samsung Notebook N130. It was working yesterday. Now each time I turn it on it does not respond. what can I do ?

1. If it is a wired mouse, please disconnection your mouse from the notebook and reconnect it in 10 seconds, if it doesnt work, try connecting it in other USB/PS2 port if available. If still it doesnt work, your mouse is faulty, try replacing it.

2. If its a wireless/cordless mouse, try replacing the batteries, this should work.

Good Luck,

Touchpad stopped working when a friend openned the laptop to fix the DC power pin. reinstalled driver, power cycled, disabled and enabled touchpad, still only works with mouse. keyboard works fine

Most probably, your friend disconnected the cable connecting the touchpad to the motherboard while disassembling the laptop to fix the DC power pin, & forgot to reconnect it back.
You will need to partially disassemble the laptop again & reconnect the touchpad to the motherboard.

Mouse stopped working. Changed batteries... still does not work.

There is a connect button on both mouse and receiver have you tried pressing those? It may be receiver first or mouse first but there's only 2 ways.

Wireless mouse wont connect.

Hi there.
Some wireless mice seem to go into some kind of sleep mode, in other words if you leave them for an amount of time they disconnect, the way to reconnect is to right click while moving the mouse.
Also check to make sure that the batteries in the mouse are seated properly.

Good luck

My cordless mouse is not working

Check to see if the dongle is plugged in. It may help to switch the port the dongle is plugged into so windows finds it again. Some cordless mice need to be reconnected push the connect button on the dongle then the connect button on your mouse.
