Question about Stanley Bostitch STB-MIIIFS Flooring Stapler

Open Question

Hello Experts in all things Stanley-Bostitch I have a Stanley Bostitch Stapler (which I've had for years and years) MODEL B8 PLIER STCR 2115 1/4 & 3/8 and I'm having trouble sourcing staples. The stapler is used in an office setting so the staples need to be office duty (each staple being 1/32'' thick, leg length 1/4'' with powercrown) not heavy duty. Can you help me identify the appropriate model/code of stapler and any pointers on how I can get my hands on some (I know that there is a chance that the stapler is no longer manufactured)? Any help would be gratefully received. Warm regards, Clare Alderson Australia

SOURCE: what part do I need

You shouldn't have to do anything to the MIIIFS flooring stapler to shoot 2" staples. It is designed to shoot 1 1/2" to 2" staples right out of the box. If your stapler won't feed 2" staples, check the magazine all the way up to the power head for any foreign material that may hold up your staples.

SOURCE: I have a Stanley Heavy

Most staplers load from the rear, but not the TR250 Sharpshooter.

With the stapler upside down and the sliding rail out drop a whole strip of staples in the channel upside down (points up) and then push the slider back in making sure it locks.
