If you car does not have an illumination wire don't worry just cut and tape it you don't need to hook it up

I have 2 wires for 1 wire. The 2 wires are> battery/constant >illumintion/dash light


it might require the illumination to be active all the time, i would hook the illumination in the with ACC wire. to prevent battery drain.

Have a Sony CDX-RA700 and I need to know where the orange and white illumination wire should hook to.

That is the wire that hooks into your headlights there should be a wire in your car loom that gets 12v dc only when the headlights are on this is the the wire that you need

To get the back light on you need to hook up the illumination wire to the ignition acc wire

the blue with silver wire goes with the oranges which is illumination and dimmer the blue by itself nothing on it is the antenna that should have been matched up with the other plain blue antenna wire runnning from your dash
