These usually indicate a defective sensor, electronic oven control or the wiring in between. you need to check the resistence of the oven probe if it is not correct the change it if the resistanc ei s good then change the electronic control if the resistance is less than 800 ohms and more than 3000 ohms it is bad

JCSP28GP1BG - GE oven F3 code appears and beeping starts when: 1. Oven is turned off completely as well as 2. After turning temperature up to any amount, F3 code appears and oven temperature does...

The F3 error code is mostly due to fault with the oven tempreture sensor in usually all units. You can perform a ohms test on the sensor at room tempreture with the unit having no power going to it would read between 1000-1100 ohms. any less then this would constitute you replacing the sensor in the unit. Part number I have on that part from sears is WB21X5301 and looks like this click this link http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/GE-Parts/Range-Parts/WB21X5301/0022/364/Model-JCSP28GP1/0432/0124111?keySuffixId=NA&productTypeId=0124111&searchModelNumber=JCSP28GP1&subCompDesc=Main%20body&brandDesc=GE&modelDesc=GE-FREE-STANDING-/-DROP-&blt=11 appliance parts pros sometimes sell after market parts or not original it would still work the same but you would have to connect it useing your own connectors and have to splice it in. If you havent ordered that part for your unit yet I would order using the number I provided along with from this company they are much cheaper http://www.allbrandonline.com/Default.aspx?Page=My%20Account%20Profile If you have any further questions message me back Thanks Rick

Hi, F3 mag curr. what is means and how do I fix it?

Hi,
F3 is an complex code.

Easy fix is look at the transformers and the capacitors and the diodes. If it seems that any component has changed its appearence then fix it and replace the F3 fuse(3rd one from the front).

If the magnetron is bad ,then to check that you must know how to use clamp ammeter.
let me know if you know how to use clamp meter .
I will give you the solution .

NOTE oven has 5000V in it.
make sure you dischared the capacitors.
Thanks
please rate my work

F3 f4 gaas oven when preheated these numbers appear it beeps and shuts off

Hi, replace the oven temperature sensor if "F2," "F3" or "F4" is displayed. "F2" indicates the oven temperature is too hot and the oven temperature sensor is suspect. "F3" or "F4" indicates the oven temperature sensor or shorted or open.

F3 Fault Code appears

What it needs is a new temperature sensor.
Unplug the range. Open the oven. Look in the top right or left side of the oven for a metal rod about 1/2 the size of a pencil. Remove the screws holding it in. Pull it out very carefully. Unplug the wire connector. Reverse this order to replace the temperature sensor.

F2 and F3 code appearing along with annoying beeping

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.
