You will need to replace the Main board and I would also replace the LVDS cable that connects the main board to the LCD panel. Very easy to do, but might take about 2 hours depending on your comfort level.
You will need:
Screw Driver
LVDS cable – Part # 0500-0505-0540
Main board – Part # 3632-0652-0395
Those part numbers will work if you have a model number VOJ320F1A.
If you post the model number I will try to find the part number for you.

It sounds like an Intergrated Circuit (IC) has fried.
Your best bet in this situation is to contact ur tv service operator and let them recommend an authorized service center in your area....

It is either the Plasma display panel or a upper or lower buffer board. If the display is bad, they are almost the price of a new set. I suggest letting a local service company look at it to be sure.

this is a common problem,the vertical hold has been damaged.dont leave the teli. on,the white line will burn the middle of the screen and leave a black mark. You need a new integrated circuit(i.c.) for vertical hold.

What is the model number it sounds like pixel problems or board problems. For more info ctechnicians.com

CHECK C2C52 10 UFD @ 50 V OFF THE BASE OF Q2C51 ON THE SIGNAL PCB. 2. CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 AND IC2P01 PART # 270P466020 (9-VOLT REGULATOR). BOTH ARE ON THE SIGNAL PCB.
