Question about Washing Machines
I have a Whirlpool top loader 6ALSQ8000 and it wont pump the water out of the machine i have taken it apart and am not sure which motor needs replacing if that is what it is. i look what seems to be the main motor oput part No 3363190 does this entirely need to be replaced or just part of it
First of all does it wash? if it does the motor does not need replacing. the drain pump is located on the front of the motor and has a clip at the top and one at the bottom. it has 2 hoses attatched to it. remove the pump and check if anything is caught inside it. if not the pump will need replacing. let me know how you go
