Question about LG C2000 Cellular Phone

LGC2000 surfs internet 24/7

My LGC2000 surfs the internet on it's own. I have a MediaNet Basic Bundle and am only pemitted so much use before overages. I Tried a new SIM card, did a master reset, spent many hours of research and time with tech support. Tech support suggested it was a routing issue first, then decided it was an equipment issue. I purposely have not used my phone in over a month in order to track the phone's usage. The only way to monitor the internet use is by Online account manager through AT and T since you cannot physically see on the phone itself that it is accessing the Media Net Services. They agreed to send the LGCE110 along with a two year contract instead of suggesting just to upgrade to an Unlimited Media Net package. I am beyond my contract period and do not want another 2 years with their inefficient service and the poor quality of phone sent as a replacement in order to avoid changing plans. They have agreed to cover the overages for now but I would like to keep my phone without this issue. I could cancel my MediaNet Basic Bundle altogether and this would stop it except that I use my phone and all it's features and dont feel I should suffer for an issue that may be at their end. Any suggestions offered would be appreciated. From Youngstown

I can not configure my internet acount in my lg365

If AT&T is your cellular provider - Call AT&T on your phone by calling 611. (Calling 611 should connect you to your cellular provider even if it isn't AT&T) Next, you will need to verify that you have Internet service on your account. That may be your problem. AT&T's internet service is called MediaNet. Make sure you ask for it to be activated for your phone.

Your service provider should then be able to send your phone a 'Data Packet' which will automatically configure your phone to MediaNet. It may take up to 24 hours for your phone to be able to access the Internet - so keep it on (and plugged in if you need to) during this time.

If you already have internet service on your account now, ask to talk to Tech Support. They'll get you fixed up quick.

Remember to have your phone number and account password ready because they will ask for both when you call.

Is the internet free for lg gd510?

internet is never free, the internet depends on your network provider, and depends on what bundles you have, if you are on pay as you go its likley the internet isnt free unless you buy a bundle, if your are on contract its likley that you will have some free allowance to use the internet, but you should check with your service provider first if you are unsure as using the internet on your mobile without a bundle can be very expensive some networks charge upto £3.50 per mb

How to Activate GPRS in Samsung Mobile GT-M 5650 3G with idea connection. I am finding only 2 bearer types only 1) UMTS 2) WIFI GPRS is not to be seen in the list.... Is there any software to activate it...

The Samsung M5650 Lindy is GPRS, EDGE, AND 3G enabled. It should connect automatically to GPRS when it's available. (Unless you are trying to tether a PC to the internet with the phone then, it may be locked out by default.)

In the United States, Cingular Wireless is one of our cellular service providers. In order to access Cingular's 3G network, MediaNet must be used for data packet service.

On 3G phones like the new Samsung Jack the MediaNet network is not an available option when tethering a PC to the internet.

In order for Cingular's 3G phone owners to tether on the 3G network, the phone must have it's 'Internet Sharing' program unlocked. Only then can the option to use MediaNet in the Network Connections box be shown on the screen.

There is a website which explains in detail how to unlock 'Network Connections' in the 'Internet Sharing' program on the Samsung Jack 3G. You may find useful information in the site. Click here:
