You should have a source button on the front panel, try pressing this until ipod shows, This is just an idea not a solution.

How do you hook up an ipod to the cd player so it plays the ipods songs?

General answer for a general question...

Except your normal CD player has no inputs.

For just listening, any audio device with a headphone/earbud output can be connected to any available analog Line Level input (except PHONO) with a simple adapter. They don't tell you that in the manual because they want you to purchase expensive accessories like docking stations.

I have a pioneer dehp6800mp and i want to install a ipod adapter cable, will the pioneer cd i 200 work? and will it also charge my ipod while its plugged in?

You would need the Pioneer CDIB100 iPod adapter instead.
It might charge your iPod, but it does not charge some iPod devices such as the Nano, iPod Touch, and iPhone.

IPOD will not Play and no control over center options

There are a few things that may cause this problem.
1) the click wheel could be bad. Find a Replacement
2) the motherboard could be bad
3) the click wheel center could have pushed in and turned causind it to stick. Make sure the center button moves freely and you can feel a click when it's pushed. if not you can open the ipod and realign the center button.

Wheel and buttons not working

theres possibly some water in there, Id recommend takeing the ipod apart and drying very carefully so there is no water anywhere. you can use a hairdryer also.

but thats after you have the circuitboards and others apart, make sure you dont break anything while opening

Apple iPod Model A1136, 30 GB.

First make sure your hold switch isn't on. It's on the top or bottom and slides back and forth. It needs to be switched to the left. Once it is to the left, here's how you reset:

You can reset your ipod by holding down the menu and select (round button in the center) buttons down for at least 10 seconds. You'll see an apple logo flash, that's when you stop pressing the buttons. It will shut off, then back on.
