Medion MDJuke 220 "Check HDD" error (by 6 users)

Hi,

I recently received a medion MDjuke 220 as a gift from a friend, however I didnt receive any form of user's manual, drivers or installation cds. It now has developed a harddrive problem, i.e. it laods up and then gives me an error message "connect to PC" and "check HDD". however when I connect it to my PC it detects it as a USB mass storage device, lets me access it but it appears empty, I can't format it or detect it under the My Computer "manage" as a harddrive. If anyone can help me out with troubleshooting this device it would be very much appreciated.

I can't find any software or drivers on the Medion website for it.

hi, I recieved a medion md220 az a gift,after a falling shock its couldnot read ke hdd,its hdd is the toshiba MK2004GAL,i bought a hdd as the same but after installing ,i couldnot install the firmware and the rest ,please guide me , special thanks,please apologize me for my poor english.thanks again, my e-mail address is : cactus_studio1382@yahoo.com

i have a GPX MW3836 MP3 player and i dont have the disk can i still put music on it and what with?

I have a simular problem, check HDD, and connect to computer. I have formated my drive in win xp, used the recovery software from both the cd, and from Aldi homepage - nothing helps. Any sugestions please!!, have also tried to run updates - nothing!!

try itunes or winamp mp3 don,t need drivers all the disk do is give you a download prograg just try any of the obove but if you insist in a driver here were to goDriverGuide.com (printer drivers, cdrom drivers, modem drivers, sound ... and here the site for your model northware.de - JPM

I found a way to solve this problem. If you have the cd that came along with the mp3, put it in your computer and explore the cd( left click on the cd in my computer and click explore). then open the tools folder and copy the folder system to your mp3 and reset it.....and voila it works!!!!!!!!
