Well for a TV such as this about an Amp or so, like 2 Amps would be too much suggesting a fault.

Is this product safe to use with the raspberry pi? I cannot find any answers elsewhere. More specifically the product is USB 2.0 4-Hub with Power Adaptor, NEXXTECH, MODEL NO.: N4PUDH

If you haven't found your answer yet...I would expect that this hub would be fine. In general, you are better to use a powered hub with the Pi as it takes a lot of the current draw necessary away from the Pi and powers it directly from the Hub. This is especially useful if you have any high power devices plugged into the Pi's USB ports, such as external hard drives.

Hope this helps.

Why the rpm of toyota corolla 1994 model goes down when aircon is turned on

Because aircon uses a lot of power, it causes the revs to drop and the car to use more fuel. Just a fact of life. If you don't NEED to use the aircon - don't use it. And if you do need to use it, expect expenses to rise.

My church has a roof top ac unit, model # GP-1360H41BA. The ratings plate has the following ratings: RLA 26.4 AND LRA 134. What is the KW draw of this unit 1. At startup 2. After startup?

RLA ( rate load amps/current) is the rate of unit ( usually about 65% against Max. load current < FLA/FLC>)
LRA ( Locked rotor amp/current)

Seems your AC use Y or Delta starter, so at start the current draws will between : 3X ( 26.4 to (26.4(1 +35%). And After start up the current draws will drop to 26.4 to 26.4(1+ 35%) in normal operation.
Remember, that the current draws also depending to the condition of your ac.

Mine now eats batteries and needs at least 4.5 volt mains adaptor to power up. It was connected to a 9 volt adaptor at one stage.

Try this link:http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.php?ProductId=818 Note the info under Power Supply,Current Draw and Expected Battery Life. Compare the specs to the results you are getting. Note that "The time may vary according to usage conditions, batteries used and type of SD memory card used." Here is a link to their support:http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.php?ProductId=818&tab=downloads&skip=true If you didn't use the exact adapter recommended you may have damaged the circuitry and will have to have it serviced. It is definitely not something you can do yourself unless you have equipment to work on surface mount technology. The required adapter is listed in the info at the first link.

SONY PCG-9L1M power adaptor

In general (with adaptors), go for the one with the higher amps. The amp rating is the maximum current draw that the adaptor can provide. If the current isn't required, it isn't used (think of it as a comparing a car that can do 200 to a car that can do 150 - both of them can do 100 or 150).

Ac adaptor on my 32 Protron inch LCD TV no longer work

What is the current output of the adaptor? If it is AC and you use only the 12v to 3v it is ok. But if the current output of the adaptor is DC and you use both 24v to 6v and 12v to 3v there is some danger if use the new one. Remember that DC current have polarity.

I bought a targus ac adapter, it worked the first time I charged my Dell 5100 Notebook computor, now a message comes up saying it doesn't recognize the ac adaptor, how can I fix this?

AC adaptor may not be correct. Check label on AC adaptor with label on notebook for voltage (e.g. 19.5V or 20V) and current (e.g. ??A or 90W)

Voltage must be same and current must be same or higher on ac adaptor.

AC adaptors replacements

You will not have any Problem What so ever.
18V is operating Voltage,
0.7A is Max of Current it (Power Adapter) is providing.

The Load (AR) is operating (Uses Current) between 0~0.7A (Even Less)
Therefore 1A Adapter is actually safer to use.

-------------------------------

Think as, your electric company supplies 100A Service,
and you have only AC is running at 10A.

Lap top problem

Hi

If the AC power light is blinking, try the following steps:

1 Cut off power to the computer by disconnecting the AC adaptor and removing the battery. The error condition will be interrupted, and the AC power light will stop flashing.

2 Put the battery back into the computer. Do not connect the AC adaptor. Try turning the computer on again. If the computer starts normally, the AC adaptor may be
defective and will need to be replaced. If the AC power light starts flashing, remove the battery, and continue with the steps below.

3 Connect the AC adaptor to the computer. Leave the battery out of the computer. Try turning the computer on again. If the computer starts normally, the battery may need charging, may be depleted, or may be defective. Turn the computer on, insert the battery, and then leave the computer running for several hours, which will deliver a slow, steady “trickle-charge” to the battery. Once the battery has been trickle-charged, it may begin working correctly again. If the trickle-charging does not prove effective, consider replacing the battery with a new one.

4 Connect the AC adaptor to a different power outlet, preferably in a different room. If the computer starts normally, there may be a problem with the AC outlet itself, or the voltage level available from it.

5 Verify that the AC adaptor is the correct unit for your computer model. The computer may not be able to start from an AC adaptor that is rated for less current (amperage) than the computer requires, even if the rated voltage is correct, and the plug fits correctly in the DC-IN socket. The labels on the bottom of the computer and the AC adaptor show the specifications for voltage ("V") and current ("A") for each device. The voltage level must match exactly. The amperage rating of the AC adaptor must be equal to or greater than that required by the computer

Regards
Mike
