When the folder (or media application) appears on your PC so you can APPLY songs to your player... use that screen to delete the files also.

Usually you can highlight the song file, then either right-click your mouse and choose DELETE or use the DELETE key on your keyboard.

It may ask you to confirm the delete option as well.

SOURCE: HOW CAN I DELETE SONGS OFF MY MP3

The only way is to connect it to your pc and either go into my computers and your mp3 folder to delete it that way.  The other way is when the music software comes up, you can delete the music from the mp3 player platform:()

For Windows XPTM users, you are connecting the device in MTP mode to the computer by default. You will need to set the device to MSC mode, so go to the device menu\Settings\Advanced\Protocol = > Press Play/Pause key to select MSC mode which will appear as such on the screen. Reconnect the device to the computer, and you can now see those files and delete them.
DO NOT forget to set the device back to MTP mode when finished, so go to device menu\Setting\Advanced = > Select MTP mode.

Cant put songs on mp3 anymore

how did you delete them?
did you delete them instantly from the file page or through the program they probably gave you with your mp3?

Also, if you removed your mp3 without clicking the "safely remove hardware" button before disconnected your mp3 with the computer, than it may have caused confussion with your hardware.

Under windows explorer or my computer, click on the icon for the mp3 player. On the mp3 player, switch between the Usb and Mtp mode (The M button). You should see songs from both modes.

Delete songs

If it is anything like my MP3 player, you would hook up the USB cable to your computer and it will get a letter assigned in My Computer. When I open that letter, all my songs are listed and I can add and delete.

Uninstall music from sa3124

Insert mp3 player/usb into computer. Double-click on My Computer. Double-click on the icon of the Philips Go Gear. Delete ONLY the song files from the Music folder. Do not delete anything other than song files, or your mp3 player will become unusable.

How to delete and download music on MP3

Many times, it works just like the PC, Highlight & then delete.

Most players that hook-up via USB cable look like a drive on the PC, the song is a file, click & delete, just like words on a page.
